Before becoming Women’s Green Bank, our model was tested and scaled through partnerships with women’s associations and Sierra Leone Commercial Bank.
Thousands of women opened accounts, saved consistently, and accessed loans—proving that when banking is designed for women, participation follows.

Women’s Green Bank (SL) Ltd was registered in 2024 and is working with national and international partners toward full operational launch. Community engagement and sensitisation continue as we build the systems, governance, and approvals required for a women-only commercial bank.
